It was built on 30+ acres (including a lake) in 1978-1979 by Carman Development LTD within the city limits of Delray Beach and is located just off the northwest corner of Homewood Blvd and Linton Blvd. People at the Pines of Delray West are very friendly, there are lots of things to do and the grounds look great. The community includes a clubhouse, a 60' x 30' heated pool, an exercise room, a library room, and a community room. Sports activities include bocce ball, pickleball and tennis.
