Owner’s perspective/ Why I love this home:The ability to grow tropical fruits is what attracted me away from condo living to this home. It was a lot in the making, but there is an abundance of fruit trees from mango, orange, grapefruit, coconut, lemon, lime and avocado. When the mango is in season, we whip up some tasty mango margaritas while entertaining in the outdoor living spaces. The underground pond and waterfall, pergola and hammock, and ambient lighting set the stage for many memorable nights surrounded by great food, friends, and neighbors. The Florida Room opens up to the meticulously landscaped yard that uses native plants for easy maintenance. This room was converted from a third bedroom to an open entertainment area and can easily be converted back to a third bedroom or study. The Tamarac City celebrations usually include food trucks, music, and of course fireworks that can be enjoyed from the back yard. We are close to some great fishing spots in the Everglades, surrounded by waterways, golf, and bike trails. One of the bike trails backs up to the back yard. We are walking distance to Publix and a short drive to all kinds of dining and shopping experiences, including the Coral Square Mall, Farmer’s Market, Sawgrass Mills Mall and the BB&T Center/Panther Arena, just to name a few. When you're done relaxing at home and ready to step out, the Sawgrass expressway is 1 mile to the west and one can easily access all of the major freeways. Naples and Key Largo are only 90 minutes away.
